Dispute Resolution Services Ltd DRSL (now FairWay Resolution Ltd), the scheme agent appointed to set up and manage the TDR service, won the ‘BDO Business under $5M turnover One to Many Offering’ category for the launch and development of TDR.
Derek Pullen, Manager TDR, accepted the award on behalf of the TDR and DRSL teams at the annual gala event, and thanked not only those who set up the scheme, but the staff and support people who continue to keep the service running at such a high level.

Dispute Resolution Services, DRSL, won this award for the launch and development of Telecommunication Dispute Resolution, TDR. The win is significant for DRSL as it is another step towards DRSL’s strategic direction, a ‘one company, many services’ model. We currently deliver dispute resolution schemes in two arenas – personal injury dispute resolution for ACC, the telecommunications industry with TDR – and in the near future with a new offering in the financial services sector.
I'd like to use this opportunity to briefly explain what TDR does.
TDR is a free and independent service for residential and small business consumers who are unable to resolve a complaint with their telecommunication company. The service has only been in operation for two and a half years, but is already achieving very highly. We are extremely proud of our customer satisfaction rates, which show 95% of people using the TDR service are satisfied with how their complaint was handled, and would recommend it to their friends. Achieving these sorts of standards is largely thanks to the wonderful team of people – many of whom are all here tonight – that make up TDR.
So, our small TDR team, and wider DRSL family, are honoured to win this award. We would also like to thank and acknowledge the TDR governing body the TCF, our Scheme Members, and in particular our Council.
